Dear Family,
In your own separate emails I've pretty much told you what
all has happened this week. We had a baptism on Saturday and I was able
to confirm Joseph on Sunday, we also had Temple Conference before that, and on
that note. Karrilyn if you are getting on my facebook I would ask you to
please stop. President Taylor said that there was a list of 10 people
that are actively getting on facebook so if you could stop just incase, I guess
I could ask him if that would be alright but until further notice that would be
awesome. I was also told basically that I need to get a hair
cut, and so this morning I finally did it. I kind of messed up on my sideburns
but I don't think that it looks to bad. I guess the difference between a
good haircut and a bad haircut is about 2 weeks. Also we got our transfer
calls on Saturday, Elder Karl is going to transfering out and going Zone Leader
in the South Zone which kind of stinks for me, I think that my biggest
problem with that is that I don't know where stuff is very well yet. I
guess this will help me learn and learn fast. I just pray that the
Lord will help me. My new companion has only been our for 3 months so
he's just one transfer ahead of me so we're both going to be as green as the
front lawn and taking on Shawnee by ourselves. I hope that he's a good worker
and that he really wants to work hard because I know that I do. If there
is one thing that Elder Karl has taught me is that if you don't
feel like working work till you do. So after we got all those calls
we have just been going around and telling everybody goodbye and stuff for
Elder Karl. Last night we went to the Carters, and they remind me a lot
of home. They are this family with red hair, all of them and its just
awesome. We had dinner and watched the first presidency message with them
which was pretty legit. Then Brother Carter took us downstairs and played
some drums for us, he played for the Osmonds a while back. Just awesome
to hear his story and everything. But basically thats all that has happened
this week. I love you all and hope that you know how much the Lord can
help us through the hard times. Remember that the Lord sees the whole
picture while we only see a small portion of it.
Sincerely,
Elder Todd Glad
