So this week has been an awesome week we had a lot of cool
things happen and alot of weird things happen as well. One of the neatest
things that happened this week was Elder Karl and I were able to be there when
a family in our ward got sealed for time and all eternity in the house of the
Lord here in Oklahoma City. By the way Oklahoma City temple is the
smallest that I've seen so far. We were able to go through a session and
see them get sealed. There were 4 other missionaries that have been
working with this family there as well. They are a crazy family that if
you looked at them you wouldn't think but they are really trying now. we
went over to their house on Thanksgiving and they had changed a lot. Some
other things that happened this week were Thanksgiving of course, but like A.J.
said not many people wanted to talk to us and we couldn't get hardly any
members to come out with us. So 0 new investigators this week which is
pathetic and we only had 8 member present lessons. But while were talking
about key indicators, we did get one baptism and one confirmation.
BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. It was so awesome I was just
like so happy that day nothing could get me down it was crazy. Elder Karl
baptized him and I confirmed him, one of the neatest experiences that I've ever
had. Giving a blessing is kind of different it isn't what Ithought it
would be, but I felt like I was saying what the spirit was dictating for me to
say. So that was awesome, we also have planned for 2 other baptisms this
week which will be awesome if they go through. That will be 3 baptisms in
a transfer. Then we have 2 more scheduled for after the transfer.
So we don't know if things will remain the same through the transfer but I
guess that we will see. I bought some clippers today with some money from
grandma so I'm going to try the oldest of missionary traditions and cut my own
hair its going to be interesting. Well thats really all for this week.
Everything is going great I'm loving the work, and growing a lot. Love
you all ,
Sincerely,
Elder Todd Glad
